JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- 7- 10 years experience servicing retail bank branches
- A proven background in account development
- Able to sell credit and debit card payment processing services to business banking customers
- The drive to outperform everyone – even your own Channel Director and our Executive Management
- Prior experience in banking or selling payment-processing services is a must
- Expert in consultative selling and have the ability to learn on the job and apply this knowledge to your daily sales process
- Work in the field with your prospects except when at our corporate office for training or underwriting support.
- Expect to receive world-class training on our products and services
- CRM reporting system experience is a plus
- Develop and cultivate revenue sources from within and outside of Banks
- Partner in developing sales and marketing initiatives
- Develop and execute a Territory/Portfolio Sales Plan to attack specific segments against mutually agreed upon performance objectives
- Introduces, promotes, follows and refines new, innovative and best practice ideas to the organization
- Introduces, promotes, follows and refines Payment Processing Services to new/established Merchants
- Monitor Merchants via the on boarding process that is shared between Banks and International Bancard
- Submit Merchant statement to International Bancard pricing engine
- Revitalize various business development channels in a proactive manner to ensure their needs are addressed and referrals are followed up and closed in a timely manner
- Update sales pipeline and forecasts as hosted by the online reporting system
- Attend crucial meetings and follow up on all required assignments

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong knowledge of all specific payment industry requirements (i.e. CNP interchange, fraud tools and checks, recurring payments, mobile payment solutions etc.)
- Strong Knowledge of Payment Processing industry with respect to Visa/MasterCard, other card types and a working knowledge of macro trends and execution of details
- Previous proven sales track record in a Merchant Services and/or Banking sector
- Ability to guide Merchants through on boarding process
- Proficient at understanding and applying Association and other card industry rules and regulations, interchange knowledge, analyzing statements and ensuring all work flow processes are followed to ensure seamless integration and implementation

- Full understanding of the workflow and on boarding process from statement analysis to Merchant activation

- Ability to travel as needed
- BA in business/economic discipline with MBA preferred
